Urgent Care Clinic

Appointments in our Urgent Care Clinics are for conditions that need to be seen on the day.  All our appointments are booked on the day.  You will be given an attendance time, but please note you may have a short wait.

These appointments are for conditions that require immediate treatment that and cannot wait until the next available routine appointment.  The receptionist will take your details and will need to pass a brief description of the problem to the Clinician who will prioritise the appointments.  This may mean that someone with a more serious problem may be seen before you, even if you arrived first.

Our Urgent Care Clinic has limited capacity.  When the Clinic is full and you feel your problem is urgent, you would need to attend a walk-in centre or A&E (for a list of the local walk-in centres and A&E, please see 'Get Medical Help Out of Hours').  Alternatively, you can try the next day for an appointment.

Telephone Appointments

We offer telephone appointments as many problems can be dealt with conveniently over the phone.  Ask for the doctor you have been dealing with to phone you.

Please ensure you leave a contact number where you will be available for the duration of the day.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible so that another patient can be offered the appointment.
